While I teach persons of every age, I specialize in teaching young children k-12. My methods have proven very successful. Many of my young musician students have excelled in MSBOA competition, performance and band. My flute students range in ages 5-40. My primary private student base is comprised primarily of K-12, but for those adults out there who are considering learning the flute or piano-Take the plunge!!
I visit many of the local schools speaking to music students, and sitting in with the flute sections, conducting Master Classes, Junior Master Classes (5th-8th grade) and assisting the band director as well as performing small concerts.

Music lessons should be fun, inspirational, motivating, and exciting! One of this areas most dynamic flute instructors is currently accepting new students who want to grow, learn, and have fun making music.
Because performance is an important part of recognizing and showcasing accomplishments, I encourage students to perform solos or chamber music in studio recitals and MSBOA competitions.
No matter what your skill level - if you've never played before, or have several years of experience I can help you gain skills and confidence while deepening your love for music.
